Immediate Start!!! Job is located in Lovington NM, Per-diem is provided, scaled job.
Scope of Work: Work will consist of installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the residential, commercial, and industrial electrical industry.
Should have the ability to direct less experienced apprentices.
Immediate Start.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision.
Has the ability to read and accurately interpret construction electrical drawings, terminate cables, and install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings.
Clearly understands and complies with Company/Job Safety Requirements.

Has the ability to read blueprints, terminate cable, install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings.
Able to demonstrate experience factors exceeding an electrical helper and must be sufficient on rough-in work.
Must be able to report to assigned Job site location on time as directed.
Maintains and properly stores tools and equipment.
Proper use and Safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
Accurately organizes materials and tools in order to maintain a clean and neat work area.
Accurately / timely troubleshoot control wiring.
The job requires an employee to have required hand tools with them at all times while at the worksite.
(Waist tool belts can weigh up to 30 lbs.
).
Accurately read labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals, and written instructions.
The employee must have the ability to acquire/maintain personal hand tools as directed.
Ability to install all sizes of conduit that will ensure timely installations.
Ability to install switchgear and its terminations.
Must be able to accurately make feeder and branch circuit calculations.
Must be able to safely use all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and KO punches.
Performs any job assignments or duties assigned by the Foreman.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Positively identify the colors of wires.
Comprehends reading and drawing prints and schematics of the same.
Must use all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches.
Bend conduit by hand with hand benders.
Must be capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or equipment.
Able to use 2-handed tools/equipment.

cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jackhammers, etc.
).
Operate equipment, trenchers, backhoe, and safely lift trucks.
Practices and comprehends safe work procedures as outlined in DKD’s Safety Manual, Haz-Com Policy, and Lockout/Tagout Policy.
Education and Experience Required: NM EE98J Journeyman License High School graduate, holder of G.
E.
D.
, or equivalent training.
Minimum of 2 years of previous experience.
Working Conditions/ Physical Functions: Mandatory compliance with all DKD Electric Policies and Procedures.
Mandatory compliance with all Owner and General Contractor Policies and Procedures.
Mandatory compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
The job may require working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, or snow.
Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities.
(Porta-Johns).
Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
Ability to lift by oneself workloads of 51 lbs.
Possess good vision/hearing.
(Normal or corrected).
Ability to work 8 or 10 hours per day, night shift, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required with little or on short notice.
Must wear personal protective equipment at all times.

Perform work at various heights, up to 90 ' from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, roofs, or other safe work areas.
