Attend and participate in daily morning safety meetings, pre-lift meetings, and any other safety meeting held onsite.
Patrol location and work with field personnel to ensure they have the correct safety equipment for the tasks they are doing.
Ensure all JSA’s, permits, and work authorizations are in place before the crews begin any task.
Ensure all personnel have proper training for any equipment they will be using.
Ensure all third-party contractors coming to location have site orientation, proper training, and proper documentation for the equipment they intend to use.
Inspect tools, lifting straps, harnesses, lanyards, and equipment on a regular basis to ensure it is in good working condition.
When found to not be in good working condition, take out of service and report to the site Superintendent for replacement.
