Valve Technician
Responsible for assembling, repairing, testing, and troubleshooting various valves under applicable codes standards, and regulations per manufacturer requirements.

- Work Plans/Task Lists - Development & CI
- Materials/Kitting – Development & CI
- Shop Organization & Cleanliness

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of valves including gate, globe, butterfly, non-automated, or control valves.
Implement preventive measures to extend the lifespan and reliability of valves.
Diagnose and troubleshoot valve-related issues and implement corrective measures.
Conduct testing and calibration of valves.
Provide inputs in CI activities - processes, results, and cost savings.
Document all work performed and recommended on the SAP WOs.
Verify materials, equipment, and tools required are ready.
Kits and stages materials, equipment, and tools where/when viable.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION - Equivalent on the job and related training that combines technical training and/or related functional experience that is commensurate with diploma/certification and/or degree.
Certification / License: Valve technician certification.
EXPERIENCE - Minimum of 5 years of maintenance/operations experience in refinery and/or petrochemical industry.
Significant maintenance experience is required.
