We are currently seeking a Deal Progression Technician to join our Team in Roswell, NM.
The Deal Progression Technician assists with the Survey, permitting and inspection process by conducting physical site assessments and recording site specifics printing, organizing and delivering/retrieving documents to local building departments, and by traveling and appearing on site to meet an inspector and to assist the inspector in any way during the inspection process.
They must communicate any results of the inspection with urgency and provide insight as to failure and passing results.
Scope of work:
Travel to site locations and conduct physical site assessments
Take photos of interior electrical panels, attic entrance, overall attic space, roof rafter depth and spacing, exterior electrical panels, utility meters, and all other electrical panels, disconnects, or transfer switches
Verify if any loads are available or not being used by the homeowner
Determine overall roof condition
Measure the perimeter of roof faces and prepare quick sketches of roof faces with directional (North, South, East, West) labels
Upload site survey analysis, collected data, and photos of work performed each day
Complete paper and digital site assessment sheets
Travel to site locations to sit an inspection and wait for the inspector to perform physical site assessments
Take photos of interior electrical panels, attic entrance, overall attic space, roof rafter depth and spacing, exterior electrical panels, utility meters, and all other electrical panels, disconnects, or transfer switches that were the cause of a failed inspection
Before the inspection, prepare the site for the inspector: set up a ladder, open up the main service panel, double check installation for obvious failures, print and prepare installation documents
Communicate information regarding the pass or failure results
Upload failure reports
Communicate with deal progression specialist and deal progression manager
Ability to read a plan set and understand the solar installation.
Complete other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not oversee other positions.
What you need to be successful in this role:
2 years' experience in a discipline related to construction
Site Audit experience preferred
Solar installation experience is preferred
Ability to understand, read, and comprehends contract documents, plans and written and verbal communication skills required in order to prepare site audit documents and conduct site audit meetings with customers preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring, and work ladders
Intermediate proficiency in general computer skills (uploading files, email, etc)
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Positive and upbeat attitude
Customer-service oriented
