LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

* *Role*: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) *(Local & Travel Both)* * *Location*: Roswell, NM * *Contract *: 9 weeks * *Timings*: 6:00 pm to 6:30 am *Qualifications*: * Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
* Minimum of 6 month of experience in Correction facility.
* Knowledge of COVID-19 symptoms, transmission, and prevention.
* Ability to assess and provide nursing care to elderly patients.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare team members.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
*Responsibilities*: * Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file.
* Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication.
* Update patient records in a confidential manner * Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff.
* Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families.
* Move patients from wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys.
*Requirements* * 1+ years of corrections experience * BLS/CPR Certificate * State License #HC#=INDEED Job Type: Contract Pay: $31.
