Comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) company matching and more What You Will Do: Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of field and shop services, ensuring tasks are executed timely, effectively, and following company standards.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field service and shop technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and safety.
Training & Development: Coordinate and oversee training programs for technicians, particularly in systems like Salt Water Disposal, Combustion Engines, Centrifugal Pumps, and Jet Lift for Artificial Lift using Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to industry and company safety standards, regularly conducting safety audits and drills.
Shop Organization: Maintain a well-organized shop environment, optimizing workflow, equipment placement, and general upkeep to enhance operational efficiency.
Inventory Management: Oversee and optimize inventory systems, ensuring accurate tracking, timely replenishment, and minimal wastage of parts and supplies.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors as needed.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
Performance Metrics: Establish, monitor, and review performance metrics for the field service and shop team to ensure quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including equipment, tools, and manpower, ensuring optimal utilization and minimal downtime.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, technological upgrades, and efficiency enhancements.
Reporting: Provide regular operational updates, challenges, and insights to higher management or executive teams.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent education and/or experience Seven (7) years of relevant experience in the upstream oil and gas field services industry.
Experience managing and building oil and gas field service teams.
Leadership: demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over 30 days and prepare action plans to achieve results Supervision, including hiring, engagement, retention and performance management Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate at the leadership level Strong math and analytical skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory experience in the oil and gas industry Pre-Employment Requirements: Motor vehicle Record (MVR) check Drug and alcohol test Criminal background check Education and certification check Physical Demands: Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is regularly required to stand for a full shift.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds and standing or walking in the work area for most of the day is a requirement of the job.
