Job brief We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent for both of our hotel properties to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.
Every employee is cross-trained for multiple shifts, 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, mornings and/or evening shifts.

Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities.
If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities * Perform all check-in and check-out tasks * Manage online and phone reservations * Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data * Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) * Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms * Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities * Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner * Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs * Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests * Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate * Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Requirements * Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role * Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor * Customer service attitude * Excellent communication and organizational skillsCOVID-19 Precaution(s): * Remote interview process * Personal protective equipment provided or required * Plastic shield at work stations * Temperature screenings * Social distancing guidelines in place * Virtual meetings * Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Communication method(s) used: * Email * Phone * In person Hours per week: * 30-40 This Job Is: * A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply Work Remotely * No This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: * Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous * People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects * Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction * Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture * Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail * Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction * Innovative -- prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity * High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.
