*About New Mexico Military Institute*: NMMI is a state-supported, co-educational college preparatory high school and junior college, complete with Junior and Senior ROTC programs.
With a Corps of Cadets numbering up to 1000 young men and women, NMMI provides an accredited college preparatory curriculum on the high school level.
*Position*: The Guest Services Specialist at Toles Learning Resource Center will be responsible for proactively greeting cadets as they enter the building and directing them to the appropriate personnel and/or resources.
The GSS will serve as the first point of contact, provide a welcoming presence, and maintain a vigilant eye at all times to ensure that overall TLRC operations are running smoothly.
This is a part-time position.
The salary is $15.
00 per hour.

*Tasks:* · Greet incoming guests (primarily students) upon arrival · Direct students to appropriate resources or personnel within Toles · Refer guests to other NMMI departments/resources as indicated · Manage traffic and ensure that overall operations are running smoothly · Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment at all times · Answer questions and provide information in a proactive manner · Report any issues or unusual inquiries to Toles Administrative Assistant and/or Leadership · Perform other duties as assigned by Toles Administrative Assistant and/or Leadership · Other duties assigned *Essential Skills:* · Ability to follow all procedures and policies established by the Toles Learning Center · Ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times · Ability to self-motivate and work independently with limited supervision · Ability to create a professional and welcoming environment by demonstrating respect for students’ diverse cultures, language skills, and experiences · Ability to listen carefully and proficiently answer a wide range of inquiries · Skill in communications/personal interactions · Skill in organization and multi-tasking · Knowledge of effective customer service techniques *Qualifications:* · High school diploma · Customer service experience · Professional demeanor · Exceptional interpersonal skills *How to Apply*: Send your application and resume to the NMMI HR Office in Lusk Hall, 101 W College Blvd, Roswell, NM, 88201, or email employment@nmmi.
